Please read the following Article Submission Guidelines before submitting your article(s). These guidelines follow the usual rules for article submission online and are compulsory. Any Author who does not abide by the following guidelines will either have their article edited or removed.
N.B. It is important to format your article in a reasonable manner - if you copy and paste from a wordprocessing program such as Microsoft Word, your article will look very strange when added to the website, as you also copy the unwanted Microsoft program code into your article.
To avoid problems with formating when copying and pasting your article for publication, please first copy and paste your article into 'Notepad', which can be found on all Windows computers under Programs > Accessories > Notepad, doing this removes weird coding from your article which is incompatible with website page code.
1. Articles must be original material that is solely owned by you. If you have hired someone to write the material you are submitting, you agree that you have exclusive rights to that material.
2. The content you submit must fall within the theme of this website, and must contain valid information, articles that are purely or mostly advertising will not be accepted. Articles which have a primary focus of promoting a person, product, or service are considered advertisements.
3. Articles must not be related to, or link to, the following subjects:
- Gambling
- Credit cards or loans.
- Pharmaceuticals / Prescription Drugs
- Sexual enhancement
- Matchmaking / Dating
- Questionable Search Engine` Optimization practices such as search ranking manipulation, artificial linking, etc.
4. Hyperlinks (links to other websites) are allowed but must meet the following criteria:
- Articles may not contain self-serving hyperlinks within the content, but you may add up to 3 self-serving links at the end of your article as your author bio.
- Links to relevant sites should appear at the end of an article.
- May not link to websites which may be detrimental to the search engine rankings of any pages within Clearmoon Business Services
- May not be affiliate links
- May not link directly to file downloads, such as MP3’s, executables, etc.
- Hyperlinks must link to a valid web page which does not return a 'page not found' error.
5. Articles submitted which include self serving links in the body of the article will be deleted.
6. Images are allowed in articles, but must meet the following criteria:
- Must be original material that is solely owned by you.
- If images are hosted externally there must be a clear indication that you are the rightful owner. If ownership is not apparent, images will be removed as soon as the violation is discovered.
- Externally hosted images must be available 24 hours a day, every day. Articles with broken image links will be removed.
7. Articles must not contain content which could be considered any of the following, nor link to websites which contain:
- Pornography
- Mail order brides
- Hacking / cracking / freaking
- Hatred or violence
- Radicalism / fanaticism
- Racial, religious, sexual orientation intolerance of any kind
- Insults / slander / libel / defamation
- Weapons attainment, creation or use
- Anything illegal, fraudulent or infringes on the legal rights of others
8. Articles must be written in the English language and must not have excessive grammatical or punctuation errors.
9. There are no guarantees that your content will be published. It is at our sole discretion whether or not to publish your content. If we do publish your content, we reserve the right to remove your content at any time and edit it if necessary to comply with these guidelines.
10. If we feel that the category you have chosen for your content is not suitable, we reserve the right to place your content in a more suitable category instead.
11. When you submit your content to Clearmoon you agree to allow us to publish your article in RSS format (RSS syndication available on Clearmoon.co.uk, Clearmoon.net, Clearmoon.eu), which enables other websites to syndicate your content.
12. We reserve the right to add advertising on the pages your content appears on.
13. Your content is offered at no charge to our visitors. You will not be paid for submitting your content to our sites and you will not be paid if and when your articles are published.
14. We reserve the right to change or add to these terms at any time.
15. We encourage you to include a final paragraph as an Authors Bio at the end of your submitted article , the Bio should include your name, website and/or email address, and a short description. Your bio should contain no more than three hyperlinks.
16. You retain full copyright of your submitted material.
17. You agree to allow other websites, newsletters, ezines, or other online print publications to re-print the content you submit to Clearmoon. Clearmoon is not responsible if anyone should violate your copyrights. It is up to you, the author, to take any necessary legal action against anyone who violates a copyright. 18. Clearmoon reserves the right to remove or deny any article for any reason, at our sole discretion.
19. You must be 18 years of age or older to be accepted as an Author Member.
N.B. Articles will be deleted if: -
- they are purely adverts i.e. buy our product / service, it is the best
- they containt hyperlinks within the content
- if they are not submitted to a category within the Article Directory
- if they contain links to any content listed in item 7 above
All articles are reviewed prior to publication, articles which do not conform to our Guidelines will be deleted, we offer our services free of charge and simply do not have the resources to edit each individual article submitted.
DMCA Copyright Infringement Information
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we have adopted a policy to suspend or, if necessary, terminate the accounts of members if content (including text/images/audio/video) uploaded to the Clearmoon website is found to be in violation of copyright.
We ask all Clearmoon Members respect the intellectual property of others.
It may become necessary, at our discretion, to disable and/or remove the accounts of users who are infringing the copyright of others.
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or that your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please provide us with the following information:
